Gary Lang Chevrolet in McHenry, IL is seeking motivated, passionate Car Sales Associates to join our growing team. This position offers a weekly salary plus commission, and hands-on training! No experience required! Gary Lang Auto Group has a team of professional sales trainers on staff, and is devoted to making our Sales Associates successful.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the customers through a complete buying process supported by established selling steps, policies and procedures.
  • Develop and relay a high level of product knowledge around vehicle features.
  • Demonstrate operation of vehicle in showroom and via test drive.
  • Provide new vehicle to customer through established delivery process, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty and paperwork.

AUTO TECHNICIANS

Responsibilities:
  • Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with our dealership standards.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
  • Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
  • Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
  • Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

Qualifications
As an Automotive Technician (Automotive Mechanic), you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive technician (automotive mechanic)
  • Hold a minimum of 3 Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications
  • Hold a valid driver's license
  • Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)

Our busy Kia, Mitsubishi, and Subaru dealership has an opening for an Automotive Service Department Coordinator to assist our service team with day to day duties as directed by the Service Manager. This is a Full-Time position.

Responsibilities

  • Duties will include generating repair orders for customers
  • Assist in providing customers with loaner vehicles as required
  • Answer inbound calls, set appointments, perform service follow up calls, and update customers on the status of their vehicles.
  • Schedule appointments for we owe's and ensure customer satisfaction throughout vehicle service
  • Communicate with parts department and technicians to complete repairs
  • Maintain highest customer satisfaction in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines

Qualifications

  • Xtime and Dealer Track experience preferred but not required
