2011 Kia Sorento Amenities

The new 2011 Kia Sorento is the first Kia assembled in the United States.  When developing it, Kia wanted to make sure the new features are what customers appreciate.  And yet still be affordable.

Here are the highlights:

Kia Motors recently launched the company's first-ever "Who's Next?" talent contest in search of the next big Internet star. Users were invited to produce creative and appealing videos around Kia Motors' game-changing Soul urban passenger vehicle and its popular tagline "a new way to roll."

The "Who's Next?" videos must incorporate Soul's unique personality and features, including technology, style and popular music.

A GM Minivan in the Works?

Last Friday, GM announced that they will be considering adding several new products to their vehicle line up. Yes, this is in addition to the Chevrolet Volt and Cruze which are brand new this year.

General Motors announced a new agreement with Indiana-based electric vehicle company Bright Automotive, a move that gives GM a quick way to develop a commercial electric vehicle.
 
GM, through its GM Ventures subsidiary, will provide $5 million to Bright to help jumpstart production of the plug-in hybrid van Bright calls, the Idea.  In return, the automaker will receive a minority stake in Bright.

Mitsubishi has joined forces with one of the premier non-profit animal rescue and adoption agencies to help find loving homes for dogs and cats in America's third largest city.

Mitsubishi has signed on as the Official Wheels of TEAM PAWS Chicago as it supports local athletes competing in three of the city's premier athletic events - the Rock 'n' Roll Chicago Half Marathon, which occurred on August 1, the Chicago Triathlon, coming on August...

What's New for the 2011 Kia Rio

The new 2011 Kia Rio has a lot of new exciting features, making it more competitive than ever. 

For example, it has a standard horsepower of 110, compared to the Toyota Yaris' 105.  The Rio has a standard USB audio input, outside mirror turn signal indicators and fornt active headrests - none of which are available on the Yaris.  You can get satellite radio on the Yaris, but it's an extra charge... it comes standard...

2011 Buick Regal Wins Top Safety Pick Awards

The Top Safety Pick designation helps car shoppers select vehicles that afford the best overall crash protection. In addition to good crash test ratings, each winner must have electronic stability control, an important crash-avoidance feature, which is standard on the 2011 Buick Regal.
